Nov 13, 2013 IP Communicator - No need to know MAC address of laptop? I saw this on Cisco’s site. Does this mean you can configure softphone for a user and if the user changes to a new laptop later on (which menas the MAC address will be different) it doesn’t matter?

1. Click the Contacts button.
2. If you see the following image, then click here for instructions on changing your Security and Privacy settings to allow you to add contacts.

4. From the left list, select Contacts.
5. Place a check next to Avaya One-X Communicator.
6. Restart Avaya One-X Communicator.

2. Click the + button.
3. Enter contact information for the caller and then click the Done button.

Microsoft Communicator For Mac

1. From your contact list, click the name of the contact you want to delete.
2. Click the Edit button.
3. Scroll down and click the Delete Contact button. Confirm that you want to delete the contact.
